Biodiesel Lab Setup and QA/QC
Biodiesel production is strictly monitored and enforced by U.S. EPA. It requires testing and reporting of nearly twenty different analytical tests. Setting up a laboratory to conduct all of these tests can be very expensive and sending samples to external laboratories, while initially less expensive, requires waiting for lab reports before the product can be sold.
What we do.
We provide consulting to develop a phased approach for setting up your biodiesel laboratory based on your needs and the amount of capital that you have to invest. We focus first on the methods and instruments that you need in order to test every batch of biodiesel that you make. Then we assess how independent of external laboratory factors you want to be for periodic required analyses. At the same time we provide you with a plan to meet the National Biodiesel Board's BQ-9000 Quality Management Program. We'll be happy to provide references if requested.
How we work.
