We provide consulting services primarily in the technical areas of environmental monitoring (including QA/QC) and chemical, biological, and radiological anti-terrorism response.

We also provide training in the format of short courses and workshops in these technical areas. Training is provided both nationally and internationally.

Deliverables range from reports and training course documentation to products such as expert knowledge systems. Closely related consulting services involve expert witness depositions and testimony.

Project Management

Successful management of our projects uses proven project management methodology and attention to details. We conduct careful planning, scoping, and continuous monitoring of each project. We have the experience and know-how to conceptualize, design and implement both large and small projects. In his previous position at Radian International Dr. Keith managed multi-million dollar long term projects and small individual projects and the experience gained there is applied to all projects undertaken at Instant Reference Sources, Inc.

Dr. Keith has over 170 publications that span traditional bound books, book chapters, and journal articles as well as electronic books and databases and expert systems. One of Dr. Keith's most popular publications is DQO-PRO, a software program that calculates numbers of samples relative to uncertainties in environmental data; it is distributed free through a link from the American Chemical Society Division of Environmental Chemistry web site and you can also obtain it here. A synergistic publication on Managing Uncertainty in Environmental Decisions was published in the American Chemical Society journal, Environmental Science and Technology, October 2001.

An electronic tutorial on Endocrine Disruptor Chemicals (EDCs), developed for teachers and parents is also a publication of current interest. In addition to the tutorial Dr. Keith also has published several books and organized several sessions at national conferences on this emerging topic.
