The file to be downloaded is named DQOPRO98.EXE and it is a self extracting compressed file.
Download it to a temporary directory (for example, C:\TEMP ) and check to verify its size is 1,676,014 bytes.
Using Windows Explorer or File Manager double click on DQOPRO98.EXE or, using START, RUN type the filename to extract the files.
They will extract using a DOS program and will result in 19 extracted files. After extraction, count the number of files to make sure they are
all present before installing the program.
While still in the temporary directory click twice on the extracted file named SETUP.EXE and follow on-screen instructions.
HINT: You can change the directory to which the DQO-PRO program will be installed by clicking on the "Change Directory" button in the installation screen.
Most people prefer to install the program files in a folder of their own choosing (for example C:\DQO-PRO ) rather than use the default folder name.
When the installation is finished you may use Microsoft Explorer to create a shortcut icon to move to your monitor screen. The icon filename is CAL.ICO and
displays as a tiny calculator button.
When you use DQO-PRO for the first time click on HELP to obtain a directory of help files for each of the three programs.
Print these help files and read them because they detail the assumptions and limitations in the programs plus provide literature references for the statistical equations.
